DATA-PRIVACY-NOTICE

1. DATA PRIVACY NOTICE

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in accordance with the statutory provisions (GDPR). In this privacy notice, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

2. WHEN IS DATA COLLECTED AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR

VISITING THE WEBSITE

When you visit our website, your IP address and the beginning and end of the session are recorded to determine the duration of this session. This is done for technical reasons and thus represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Unless otherwise determined in the provisions that follow, this data will not be processed by us.

CONTACTING US
If you contact us using the contact form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case there are follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data to others without your consent.

MAKING A PURCHASE IN THE WEB STORE
We would like to inform you that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process and subsequent contract processing, the web store operator stores the IP data of the visitor together with the buyer’s name, company, address, and payment details in a cookie file.

The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. We are not able to conclude the contract with you without this data. No data is shared with third parties with the exception of credit card data that is transferred to the processing bank/payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company that we commissioned to deliver the goods, and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations.

In the event that a contract is concluded, all data shared under the contractual relationship will be stored until the tax retention period has expired.

The “name,” “address,” “purchased goods,” and “date of purchase” data is also stored until the expiration of the statutory product liability period. All data is processed on the basis of the legal regulations of Art. 6 (1) lit. a) (consent) and/or lit. b) (necessary to fulfill the contract) and/or lit. f) (safeguarding the legitimate interests of the responsible person) of the GDPR.

COOKIES
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device by the browser. They cannot cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our web offering user friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you decide to delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you when cookies are stored or to only allow cookies in individual cases.

However, if you choose to deactivate cookies, this will limit the functionality of our website.

WEB ANALYSIS
If you so grant your consent, Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), will collect information about your visit to our website. The use of this service includes the „Universal Analytics“ operating mode. This makes it possible to associate data, sessions, and interactions across multiple devices with a pseudonymous user ID and thus to analyze the activities of the user across devices.

Google Analytics uses „cookies“ to analyze how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on our website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. We would like to point out that Google Analytics has been expanded to include IP anonymization on our website in order to ensure the anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data. For more information on terms of use and data protection, see https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or rather https://policies.google.com/?hl=de.

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING
On behalf of IMT Information Management Technology AG, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and Internet usage.

LEGAL BASIS
The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

RECIPIENTS/CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS
The recipient of the collected data is Google.

TRANSMISSION OF DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES
The personal data is transmitted to the USA under the EU-US Privacy Shield on the basis of the adequacy decision of the European Commission. You can download the certificate here.

DURATION OF DATA STORAGE
The data that we transmit and that are linked to cookies, user IDs, or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has expired is deleted automatically once a month.

AFFECTED RIGHTS
You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect by preventing the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing a corresponding browser add-on. Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. In order to prevent Universal Analytics from collecting data across different devices, you must opt-out on all of the systems that you use.

3. LICENSE MANAGEMENT FOR DATAFLOW SOFTWARE

Login data is transmitted to us or to our license server when you are authenticated by the Dataflow software for technical reasons, including in particular to ensure compliance with the license agreement as well as the secure and stable operation of the Dataflow software. These so-called server log files collect data about your e-mail address, which also acts as the username that is used to access our license server, the date and time of the respective login, and the IP address of the Internet connection from which our service is used.

The data that is collected in this way is temporarily stored on a server in Switzerland, but not together with other data from you. This storage takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in improving and ensuring the stability, functionality, and security of our software product.
